Who is eligible to use the eGov PH Super App?

Anyone can install the eGov PH Super App but the extent of access varies per the following conditions:

  • For registration: At least 18 years of age
  • For government services: Verified Account
Why does my account need to be verified?

Verified account, through your PhilSys Number, authenticates the identity of the user to ensure integrity and to eliminate fraud in service transactions.

What if I do not have a PhilSys Number?

The PhilSys Number is a requirement for the Verification Process, and to allow access to the government services integrated in the eGov PH Super App. On the other hand, access for Unverified Accounts is limited to the News Section.

How can I get a PhilSys Number?

The Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Registration is administered by the Philippine Statistics Authority. Visit philsys.gov.ph to know more.

Can I have multiple User Accounts?

An individual may register multiple Mobile Numbers as User Accounts. But, only one Mobile Number could be verified through their PhilSys Number.

Can I change my Mobile Number as User ID?

There is no direct procedure on changing the Mobile Number as User ID through an active account. Instead, we advise the following procedure:

  • Step #1: Delete your current account
  • Step #2: Register your other Mobile Number as new account
  • Step #3: Accomplish the Authentication Process
  • Step #4: Continue enjoying the eGov PH Super App with your new account

Customization and Security

Can I receive notifications to my external channels?

Yes. Through the registered mobile number and e-mail address, the following details will be sent to keep users informed and advised:

  • Official Receipt of Transaction
  • Status Progress and Completion of Transaction
  • Important Government Announcements
  • System App Update
How can I ensure the security of personal information when my SIM/phone got lost?

In the circumstance of compromised SIM/phone by any reason, we advise for the immediate deletion of the account to avoid unwanted theft of personal information.

Can I transfer my information from one Mobile Number to Another?

No. The eGov PH follows a ‘One Mobile Number per PhilSys Number’ Policy; which means that users cannot have two Mobile Numbers as accounts at the same.

If the user has to transfer information to a new Mobile Number, we advise the following procedure:

  • Step #1: Delete your current account
  • Step #2: Register your other Mobile Number as new account
  • Step #3: Accomplish the Authentication Process
  • Step #4: Continue enjoying the eGov PH Super App with your new account
How can I delete or downgrade my account?

Your eGov PH Account can be deleted or downgraded directly through the Super App. Simply go through these steps:

  • Step #1: Log-in your account
  • Step #2: Click:Account → Settings → Account Settings → Access and Control
  • Step #3: Choose either to “Downgrade” of “Delete” your Account
  • Step #4: Indicate the Reason
  • Step #5: Click the Red Button
  • Step #6: Validate through Face ID
  • Step #7: Enter the Received One-Time Pin

What are the Legal Rationales of the eGov PH?

The eGov PH Super App stands on the following issuances:

  • Republic Act No. 10844: The Department of Information And Communications Technology Act of 2015

    “To establish a Digital Philippines through the adoption of Digital Transformation systems and solutions.”

  • Republic Act No. 11032: The Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018 (Anti-Red Tape Authority)

The eGov PH Super App is pursued through a collaborative engagement of all government entities, from national to local level offices, as vital principle to proper management and to ensure sustainability of the system.

What is the difference of the eGov PH with the existing government online services?

The eGov PH Super App is to integrate all government online services into one platform. This will provide citizens with convenience in accessing government services through a one-stop-shop avenue, instead of a silo government website.

Is the eGov PH Super App overrides the existing government online service systems?

The intention of the eGov PH Super App is to serve as supplemental to the already existing government online systems, and not to replace them.

Can I use the App overseas?

Yes. One of the objectives of the eGov PH Super App is to provide the social assistance needed by the Overseas Filipino Workers. Ensure the verification of the account, through your PhilSys Number, to have access to the government services.

Can the App be used by foreign nationals?

Foreign nationals may install the eGov PH Super App and register an account provided they have a Philippine Mobile Number. But if the account remains unverified, the access will be limited to the News Section.

How does the Single Sign-On work?

In a gist, Single Sign-On allows you to “log in once to access all”. This means that you do not have to re-enter the information that you have previously provided; the system will save and auto-provide them as needed for succeeding transactions.

Can I log in my account to multiple mobile devices?

Yes. In logging in to multiple mobile devices, a One-Time Pin will be provided as an authentication mechanism in ensuring the security of your account.

Can I access the eGov PH through offline?

No. The eGov PH requires internet, may be through a WiFi or Mobile Data.

What operating systems that the eGov PH are accessible?

The Mobile Installation of eGov PH is supported by Mac OS and Android.

Can I access the app via web browser?

The eGov PH is designed as a mobile application. The webpage only provides useful information and will lead you to the download links for App Store and Play Store.

How can I pay for my government online service transaction fees?

The payment system of the eGov PH Super App is powered by the eGovPay that bridges various payment gateways and the integrated government services. This means that payment of transaction fees will link you to your preferred means: either through Online Banking, e-Wallets, Cash Payments, Kiosks and e-Cards.

How will I know if my transaction was a success?

As receipt to keep you informed on the progress status and completion of transactions, notifications will be sent through the following channels:

What if my transaction is not recorded in the History Section?

Digital Identification

Where can I use my digital IDs?

The PhilSys Digital ID, supplemented by other digitized and uploaded IDs, can be used for any government and private transactions.

In addition, since the Republic Act No. 11055, or the Philippine Identification System Act, is implemented with appropriate authentication measures and biometric system, this allows Filipino citizens and resident foreigners to have a single and sufficient identification; even without the need for other forms of identification.

Can I still use my physical ID in addition to my digital IDs?

Yes; physical IDs will still be accepted as proof of identity. The intention of digitizing the IDs, through the eGov PH App, is to support Filipinos for seamless transactions.

Also, because of the Republic Act No. 11055 or the Philippine Identification System Act, we encourage users to utilize the Digital IDs to avoid fraudulent activities and ensure authentication.
